Entry applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Cambria Somerset County Outstanding Young Woman Scholarship Program.  All young women in the current Sophomore and Junior Class are eligible to enter the program for the county in which they reside.  

 

To enter, simply fill out the application here by February 7, 2025 Be sure to complete all the information requested and  include required electronic signatures.  You will be contacted after the 7th to schedule your preliminary interview and performing arts audition. At that time you will also need to submit a copy of your most current grade transcript (your school guidance counselor can help you access these).

Finalists will be selected based on total scores tabulated from the five minute judges’ interview, two minute talent audition, and scholastic evaluation of grade transcripts. Each contestant will be notified by email during the following week regarding the selection of the finalists.  A note on talent presentations:  You are not expected to have a perfected talent for your audition.  Just do your best to demonstrate your ability in the talent you have selected for your audition.  Please adhere to the time limit of two minutes.  

 

The Cambria-Somerset Outstanding Young Woman Scholarship Program will be held in JULY 2025.
